London Stansted Airport: book cheap flights

London-Stansted airport is known as London's third airport. It is situated almost 65 kilometres (40 miles) to the north of the capital city. It can be reached by road or rail. The quickest journey to central London is via the Stansted Express. Departing every fifteen minutes, it arrives at Liverpool Street station forty-six minutes later. It is also possible to get a coach to Victoria station, or hire a car. Coaches travel to and from Stansted from a great many places in the UK, while trains link the airport to Cambridge and destinations in the Midlands, with connections to the North and Scotland. There is car parking for nearly 27,000 vehicles, although half of all passengers use public transport to get to and from the airport. Although it only has one runway, Stansted is the fourth busiest airport in the UK. Flights go to over 150 destinations; Dublin being the most popular international destination.
